About Dr. Staskel
Dr. Staskel grew up in rural upstate New York with a dream of becoming a vet since she could remember. She graduated from Houghton College with a B.S. in Biology in 2007, went on to attend Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, and completed her clinical studies at the University of Missouri in 2011. For the last 10 years, she has been practicing veterinary medicine in various parts of North Carolina. She enjoys camping, hiking, and kayaking and now lives in Hickory with her husband and dog!
Our Greatest Achievement
I went with my sister because the time had come to let her 12 yr old Yorkie go. The entire staff couldn’t have treated us better. They were so kind, solicitous and caring. They made the little Yorkie’s transition peaceful and gave us all the time we needed to say Goodbye.
